General Information

SIGNUPS FOR 2017-2018 SEASON START OCTOBER 3rd!  Anyone interested in Archery come to the Beef Pavillion at 6:00pm on Tuesday night.  All you need is you and your parent.
 
GOAL:
The goal of the ARCHERY program is to proved a fun and safe way to learn about shooting a bow.  We have practice sessions available every Tuesday to either come have fun and shoot or also provide those more competitive with numerous tournaments throughout the year.  In the end it is all about the kids having fun with one of the best sports on the planet!
 
MEMBERSHIP AGE: 
The only restriction is an age limit.4-H Age is determined by October 1st of the current 4-H year. Youth who have reached their 8th birthday (before October 1st of the current 4-H year), through those who have not reached their 19th birthday (before October 1st of the current 4-H year).
** The following groups are identified for special programs and activity participation, including all competitive events/activities, within the WSU Extension 4-H Youth Development Program:
 
Cloverbuds 5 to 7 years of age (Not eligible for Shooting Sports Project)
Juniors 8 to 10 years of age
Intermediates 11 to 13 years of age
Seniors 14 to less than 19 years of age
 
EQUIPMENT: 
We have a few bows both compound and recurve to borrow to get you started.  Though if you have a bow please bring it and we can check it out for you.  The program does require the following safety equipment to participate; arm guards and finger tabs.  The cost is $20 for the safety equipment. Limited quanities are available for purchase the first few weeks of practice (while supplies last). 
 
CLUB DUES:
The club dues are $30/archer/year or $50/family (2 or more youth). 
 
COUNTY FEES:
There is a county fee of $5/youth/year that goes to Snohomish County 4-H extension. 
STATE FEES:
New this year, there is a Washington state fee of $25/youth/year.  These county and state fees totaling $30 will be paid online at www.4honline.com at your time of 4-H online registration.
